Thirty-Five stands for 35mm, a lens that has played a pivotal role in the history of photography, becoming a favorite among photojournalists for its versatility and natural field of view.
Andrei Pungovschi, the photographer behind Thirty-Five, is a Romanian award-winning photojournalist whose work captures nuances of contemporary life, with a strong focus on social issues, identity, and human resilience. His work has been published extensively in both national and international publications. He holds a BA in Journalism from the University of Bucharest and has studied photography at the University of Missouri in the United States on a Fulbright scholarship. He currently lives in Bucharest with his wife and son, where they share an apartment with their two hairy dogs and one lazy cat.
